PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In the Advanced Graphic Design course at the Istituto Europeo Design in Florence, one of our final projects was to develop and create our own custom typeface. Here is my product.
DESIGN DIRECTION
Role: Visual Design
Materials: Pencil and paper, Adobe Illustrator
Time: 2 weeks
My custom typeface, Slow, meditates on oscillation, curves, and steady
movement. It beckons you to slow down in this fast-paced world of ours.
I spent approximately two weeks learning about typeface from its
classifications to its anatomy and was able to quickly develop and design
my own typeface through Adobe Illustrator.
