The Fall

The Fall

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Masako Miyazaki, an art practice instructor at Stanford University, assigned us to design and create an art installation piece on any theme for our final project. This process involved writing proposals, inspiration boards, and production iteration.

DESIGN DIRECTION
Materials: Leaves, hot melt gun, spray paint, paper
Time: 3 weeks

This piece illuminates the necessary balance between Truth and
interpretation, permanence and ephemerality, and dirtying and cleansing.
As a spiritual installation, The Fall seeks to give hope to those who are
paralyzed between two seemingly disparate states of mindset and of being.
Please see below for my design process.
