Visual Graphic of Salesforce’s Official Agile Process

Need: A graphic that succinctly and creatively explains Salesforce’s Agile process for both internal and external purposes.

Thought Process: Designing a visualization of a complex process for several stakeholders was a challenge that required collaboration, communication, and creativity. Ultimately, I designed a visualization that is straightforward, linear in terms of telling a story (hence, the layered blocks) while still categorizing the topics, and stays true to the Trailhead brand. This design went through approximately 3 redesigns with feedback from 4 different team members and will not only be printed, but also digitized. We’re hoping to provide greater detail through the digitized version which will include interactive elements such as pop-ups.

Agile Team Infographic One-Pager for Sales Cloud

Need: A one-pager infographic that allows team members to check off what is needed to be reviewed in a Sprint Review Meeting as a means of improving the efficiency and productivity of these meetings. This is one part of a multi-layered project.

“We want to make it easy for engineering teams to be more agile, follow good practices and inspect and adapt. To do so, we want to create some easy-to-follow 1 page infographics that distill good practices for the Agile @ Salesforce way of working within TMP. Our definition of success is to have TMP using these 1 pagers to remind themselves of how to effectively and efficiently work in an iterative and incremental manner. We would like to start distributing these to the entire Sales Cloud. These are internal only but in the future we may share these with CSG, Digital Transformation Engagements, and Customer Success teams.”

Thought Process: Because there was no official design before, I wanted to create a visual that would keep consistent with the above ‘Agile at Salesforce’ infographic. I created a graphic that creates a chronological hierarchy of information; I wanted the goal + value to be first so that they would be able to frame the meetings and the tasks within them. I also wanted to incorporate, again, the Trailhead branding while simultaneously keeping true to the Sales Cloud brand colors.

Trailhead Module Graphics

Need: Illustrations for Trailhead Modules that enhance the content of the learning experience for the 7 units of the Health Cloud Data Model module.

Thought Process: This Trailhead Module specifically follows the Health Cloud Data Models which focuses on a patient named Charles Green who has back pain and is able to better attend to his pain as a result of Health Cloud. I focused on designing environments that could communicate relationships + processes, stress to relief (emotions), and comparisons while still holding onto the Salesforcelandian style.
